Enjoy a sunset cruise of lower Manhattan with breath taking views of the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and the New York Skyline. In addition, a presentation of the geology of lower New York Bay Area will be given.

End the conference with a wine and cheese cocktail, tour of the Peking, and admission to the South Street Seaport Museum. The Peking is one of the largest sailing vessels ever built. It is 377 feet long and her four-masts are as tall as an 18-story building. This giant merchant vessel is powered only by wind. The Peking's new home is historic South Street Seaport. South Street Seaport is a complex of restored 19th century buildings located on the waterfront of the East River. You can enjoy the city's rich and diverse maritime past. The area's cobble stone streets are lined with quaint and charming shops and are closed to automobile traffic.
