Learn
how to motivate your students
by
taking them on a Shoreline Field Experience.
Coordinated with the
New York State Science Standards
We
will explore the flora and fauna and show easy methods for measuring common
physical parameters with your class. -
All done from a boardwalk platform, which winds through the marsh and other
shoreline environments. Appropriate for
all levels. Some hardy volunteers will be asked to help us draw a seine net
through the shallows.
Bring
along a bucket if you want to bring specimens back to school. Dress warm for the day, bring hat,
sunglasses, bug spray, suntan lotion.
